The DevForge In-Browser Privacy Guarantee

At DevForge (onlinedevforge.com), we believe your data belongs solely to you. All developer utilities, text cleaners, JSON parsers, timestamp converters, and AI prompt engineering tools run 100% client-side inside your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your source code, API keys, customer PII, prompt blueprints, and server logs never touch our servers or any third-party AI APIs.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Because of our client-side execution model, we do not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Input/Output Text: Any text, prompt, code snippet, JSON payload, or server log you paste or upload into our tools.
  • API Credentials or Secrets: Any API keys, JWT tokens, AWS credentials, or passwords scanned or formatted.
  • Personal Customer Data: Names, emails, credit card numbers, or SSNs processed through our redaction tools.
  • Uploaded Files: Files uploaded via local file selectors are processed directly in browser memory and are discarded when you close or refresh the tab.

2. Information We Automatically Collect

Like most static website hosts, our hosting infrastructure (such as Cloudflare/Vercel edge networks) and basic anonymous analytics may collect non-identifiable technical metrics when you access our site:

  • Browser type, version, and operating system
  • Referrer URL and general geographic region (country/city level)
  • Pages visited, time on page, and standard HTTP request headers
  • Screen resolution and device type (mobile, tablet, desktop)

This telemetry is aggregated and strictly used to diagnose performance bottlenecks, optimize browser compatibility, and prevent DDoS attacks.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage solely for functional preferences:

  • Theme Preferences: Remembering whether you prefer Light or Dark mode (theme: 'dark' | 'light').
  • Tool History (Optional): If you choose to save prompt presets or custom regex patterns locally, they reside only within your device's browser sandbox.

Third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdSense or Carbon Ads, when active) may use cookies or web beacons to serve contextually relevant advertisements based on your prior visits to this or other websites. 4. GDPR & CCPA / CPRA Compliance

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Know & Access: We store zero user account or prompt records in any database.
  • Right to Deletion: You have full control over your data; clearing your browser cache and local storage deletes 100% of stored preferences.
  • No Sale of Personal Data: We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or data processing inputs.
